A drive to Selardalur offers picturesque views and true hidden gems in the area are sculptures and buildings by Samuel Jonsson. Samuel pursued his dreams of becoming an artist after he retired at the age of 72. He brought sand from the shores on his back to build the unique sculptures. Moreover, he himself built the museum and the church and created models of distant landmark buildings, without having had any training in art.
